From the same people who gave us the "Ahoy Rotterdam EP" footage, this is another release containing uncirculating, professionally filmed video footage in excellent quality. Split into two parts : broadcast and raw camera footage, each has it"s own separate menu with track selection, etc. The broadcast footage was previously circulating (on "Dutch TV II", for example) but certainly not in this quality. The 10 minute broadcast footage begins with a 2 minute intro showing fans approaching the stadium before cutting into the concert as "The Future" begins (the "DAT intro" was not broadcast). Filmed by 2 camera"s the picture quality throughout is head-and-shoulders better than any other version circulating and is a pleasure to watch. Unfortunately there are a number of sound issues and it appears to be a mono recording with a few flickers here and there - no big deal considering the picture quality, but still there for all to hear. The second portion of the release contains raw footage of the show taken from one of the camera"s used for the broadcast (thankfully the center-stage, static camera) and is far more complete than the broadcast footage. It includes the opening "DAT intro", and whilst the broadcast fades out during the intro to "Housequake", this raw footage continues on until mid-way through "Kiss" - making a total running time of 17:20. Again, the picture quality is of an extremely high standard and thankfully the audio on the raw camera footage is vastly superior to the audio of the broadcast footage. Overall this really is a very sexy 30 minute release containing a rather rare video recording in stunning quality. The Nude Tour gets something of a bad rep, but this is fascinating viewing, and opening night shows are always that little bit more special.
