Wolverine And The X-Men Beginning Of The End 2009 NTSC DVDR-KART3LDVD



After speaking with Logan (Steve Blum) in the present, Professor X (Jim Ward) returns to the dark future he currently inhabits. He's set upon by Sentinels, who capture him and seize Cerebro from the X-Mansion. They take him to a mutant prison run by Colonel Moss (Michael Ironside); the prisoners are kept docile by the use of inhibitor collars which dampen their powers. Luckily, no one realizes that Xavier is a telepath--they've all been wiped out, apparently--and he manipulates Moss into believing that his collar is activated when in fact it hasn't.

Back in the present, Wolverine leads an assault on Bolivar Trask's compound in search of MRD equipment. They find an empty warehouse--Trask and company have apparently split. In the future, Charles is approached by Bishop (Kevin Michael Richardson), who reveals a few pieces of this world's past. Wolverine trained him and a number of other X-Men before being captured by the Sentinels; now Bishop and the X-Men on the outside of the compound are planning an escape. Professor X tells the prison's other mutants about Cerebro and admonishes them to help him reclaim it rather than simply fleeing. Bishop orders the escape to go forward as planned, but stays with the Professor to help him infiltrate the inner compound. They're able to slip past the Sentinels (with a little help from a mind-controlled Moss) and locate Cerebro, as well as removing Bishop's collar.

Advancing deeper into the compound, the pair makes a chilling discovery: the Sentinels have discovered how to mechanically duplicate the powers of mutants under their care. Bishop tells Xavier about Master Mold, the Sentinel in charge of the MRD and the reason Wolverine re-formed the X-Men. Their conversation is interrupted by Moss, who has broken free of Xavier's control and alerts the Sentinels to their presence. Wacky mayhem ensues: Bishop holds off the robots while Charles frees a young telekinetic from the Sentinels' clutches. Bishop then taps into the compound's electricity and shorts out everyone's inhibitor collars. Even more wacky mayhem ensues. Sentinels capture the Professor, but an older version of Domino (Gwendoline Yeo) busts him free while Bishop and the telekinetic mutant secure Cerebro. They all escape with the remaining mutants into the apocalyptic wasteland.

Charles then contacts Beast and Logan in the present, and urges them to continue searching for Trask's compound.
