Lady Gaga sluit het MAYHEM‑hoofdstuk af met een concertfilm en live‑album genaamd MAYHEM Requiem, gepresenteerd als Apple Music Live‑special.
De opname, gemaakt op 14 januari 2026 in The Wiltern‑theater in Los Angeles, herwerkt nummers van het studioalbum MAYHEM tot intieme, filmische uitvoeringen waarin zang, piano, synthesizers en dramatische frasering centraal staan.
In plaats van een exacte weergave van de studiotracks kiest Gaga voor duistere, rauwere arrangementen met grunge‑ en industriële synthtexturen; het geheel functioneert als een rituele afronding van het MAYHEM‑tijdperk, een overgang van chaos naar rust waarin kwetsbaarheid en theater samenkomen.
De wereldwijde live‑première is op 15 mei om 05:00 Nederlandse tijd en is tijdens die uitzending gratis te bekijken via Apple Music of de Apple TV‑app. Na de première blijven de concertfilm en het bijbehorende live‑album exclusief beschikbaar voor Apple Music‑abonnees; het live‑album verschijnt ook met een Spatial Audio‑master voor een ruimtelijke luisterervaring. MAYHEM Requiem sluit de The Mayhem Ball‑tour af, die haar laatste show op 13 april in New York had.
Voor fans biedt Apple extra interactie via Shazam: het herkennen van Gaga‑nummers levert directe links naar Apple Music en ontgrendelt exclusieve content zoals iPhone‑wallpapers, Apple Watch‑wijzerplaten en toegang tot behind‑the‑scenes materiaal over de totstandkoming van het liveconcert.
