De metalgoden van Judas Priest hebben een pauze ingelast, wat zanger Rob Halford de gelegenheid geeft om met zijn eigen band Halford aan de slag te gaan. Recent kwam al de live dubbel-cd Live In Anaheim uit, die eind augustus wordt gevolgd door een gelijknamige dvd. Tussendoor brengt Halford half juli een opnieuw gemasterde en gemixte versie uit, met vier bonustracks, van het uit 2002 stammende album Crucible. In oktober moet dan uiteindelijk een gloednieuwe studioplaat verschijnen, getiteld Halford IV - Made Of Metal. Dankzij de website Bravewords.com kun je als voorproefje op de nieuwe langspeler alvast de eerste single The Mower beluisteren.
