            Û  Dying Awkward Angel are a death metal band from     Û
            Û  Turin, in Italy, founded in 1998 by Edoardo Demuro  Û
            Û  and Ivan Longo (Hydra). With the cooperation of     Û
            Û  Alessandro Iraci (My People's Suicide), Alessandro  Û
            Û  Benedetto (Mainline) and Federico Fiore (Axtra)     Û
            Û  they recorded in 2001 the first demo cd called      Û
            Û  "Dying Awkward Angel". This CD gets great results   Û
            Û  providing the band many concerts throughout         Û
            Û  northern Italy as well as being named Top Demo on   Û
            Û  the magazine "Metal Shock". Federico Fiore leaves   Û
            Û  the place to Daniele Porfido (Rosa Antica) and in   Û
            Û  2004 they are back in studio to record "Ghost At    Û
            Û  The Spine," a CD that fully shows the improvements  Û
            Û  of the band. In 2008, after many lineup changes,    Û
            Û  the band is seen composed by Edoardo Demuro, Ivan   Û
            Û  Longo, Benny Bianco Chinto (Disarmonia Mundi),      Û
            Û  Cosimo De Nola (Broken Art) and Sergio Costa (Art   Û
            Û  of Darkness). They recorded the single "Flying      Û
            Û  Through My Head", which gained limited success due  Û
            Û  to the subsequent dissolution of the band. After a  Û
            Û  radical change of formation, in January 2010, the   Û
            Û  band finds itself with its final lineup: Edoardo    Û
            Û  Demuro, Luca Pellegrino (Highlord, HBM,             Û
            Û  Housebreakers), Lorenzo Asselli (HBM, 20 Strings),  Û
            Û  Daniele Veronese (Highlord, HBM) and the new young  Û
            Û  and talented frontman Joshua Baecke (Grotesque      Û
            Û  Death, We Survived The Maya). In 2012 the new       Û
            Û  Dying Awkward Angel entered the studio to record    Û
            Û  the full length album "Waiting For Punishment".     Û
