TeraCopy is een praktisch instrumentje dat het kopieerproces van bestanden versnelt. De applicatie bespaart je veel tijd bij het dupliceren van grotere files, zoals videomateriaal, je fotoverzameling of audiobestanden.

TeraCopy bestaat uit een minuscuul venstertje waar je een bestand in sleept en de bestemming van de kopie bepaalt. En huppetee, 't programmaatje maakt razendsnel een kopietje. Wil je meerdere bestanden kopiëren, maar weigert er eentje, dan probeert 't programma een paar keer de file te dupliceren. Lukt dit uiteindelijk niet, dan slaat TeraCopy 'm over, zodat het kopieerproces van de andere bestanden niet afbreekt.

Deze kopieerkoning integreert perfect met Windows en is zelfs in te stellen als vervanging voor de standaard kopieerfunctie. Een klein minpuntje is dat dit ongevraagd gebeurt, maar in het bescheiden optie-menu vink je deze instelling snel uit.

TeraCopy is een kleine reus. De kopieer-applicatie is licht, gebruiksvriendelijk en eenvoudig, waardoor het een groot positief effect heeft. Vanaf nu dupliceer je grote bestanden sneller én efficiënter.

It skips bad files during the copying process, and then displays them at the end of the transfer so that you can see which ones need attention. TeraCopy can automatically check the copied files for errors by calculating their CRC checksum values. It also provides a lot more information about the files being copied than its Windows counterpart. TeraCopy integrates with Windows Explorer’s right-click menu and can be set as the default copy handler.
