Originally formed in 1998 as a solo project of well-known guitarist Olaf Thorsen (Labirynth), Vision Divine soon became a real band with the addition of Fabio Lione from the mighty Rhapsody on vocals, Mat Stancioiu (drums) and Andrew Mc Pauls (keyboards), both from Labirynth and Andrea 'Tower' Torricini on bass. Years passed by and VD released 3 very successful albums, toured the world several times and consolidated themselves as one of the European leading bands in the power/prog metal scene. In the meantime the band experienced some line-up changes and, finally, they became stronger than ever with new members Michele Luppi on vocals, Oleg Smirnoff (Death SS and Eldritch among others) on Keyboards and Matteo Amoroso on drums. 'Stage Of Consciousness', their first DVD, captures Vision Divine's incredible musicianship and powerful live attitude as never before.
