What a fantastic first release from Ladybird. After the official Syracuse show, 
this is the best quality Purple Rain concert circulating (the remaining Houston 
show is audience filmed). It"s professionally shot by a single camera directly 
in front of the stage and gives a clear unobstructed view of the action.  The 
audio of the show has been available on the City Lights release for some time, 
and it"s cool to see what you have only previously heard before. The set-list is 
pretty basic for a Purple Rain show, however the 25 minute (read it and weep - 
25 minutes!!) Baby I"m A Star makes up for that. Nice menu, with chaptering make 
this an excellent release. Oh, and watch out for Prince catching his foot on the 
microphone stand and taking a tumble, kinda sad.......but oh so funny ;-)
