Tommy Wallace (Sebastian Pigott) sluit zich aan bij de bemanning van de St. Christopher, een groep vissers op zoek naar kostbare koningskrab in de Beringzee bij Alaska. Al op zijn eerste vaart worden Tommy en de bemanning overvallen door een verschrikkelijke storm. Terwijl het schip zinkt, moet de bemanning vechten voor hun leven tegen de razende storm en de metershoge golven van het ijskoude water.
