Met elke nieuwe versie van Windows wordt ons een stabieler besturingssysteem beloofd. Microsoft maakt die belofte in zoverre waar dat computers tegenwoordig inderdaad minder vaak crashen dan pakweg tien jaar geleden. Maar minder vaak is helaas iets anders dan nooit. We zullen dus nog altijd af en toe problemen moeten opsporen en verhelpen. Goed gereedschap is daarbij uiteraard onmisbaar.

Door de jaren heen hebben we al heel wat tooltjes besproken die jr kunnen helpen, maar niet eerder waren ze zo alomvattend als Windows Repair Toolbox, een tip van Jan Smit.

WRT is een schil om een groot aantal gratis gereedschappen en systeemonderdelen die je helpen de oorzaak van een probleem te vinden; tools voor hardware-diagnose, instelling en reparatie van Windows-onderdelen, verwijdering van malware, enzovoort. Deze worden naar behoefte gedownload en je kunt je eigen favoriete tools toevoegen.

Windows Repair Toolbox is a software created to help you repair a Windows system, by making the process faster, easier and uniform.

– Download and run “on-the-fly” the best free portable software when it comes to diagnose and solve several kinds of Windows problems.
