An excellent S.O.T.T. recording. I seem to remember this on vinyl YEARS ago, so I presume this is a rip from the original vinyl release. The sound quality really is superb, with the minimal amount of audience noise, and Prince loud, clear and sharp. The show itself is a pretty basic S.O.T.T. concert, however Prince"s energy and performance manage to lift it above the mundane. "When Doves Cry" contains a verse from La, La, La, He, He, Hee and an extended ending - I hadn"t heard this on a S.O.T.T. show until now - and it works amazingly well. A brilliant and highly enjoyable release.
