2 different audience recordings of the concert mixed together extremely well!
Unfortunately neither recording captures the first 10-15 minutes of the show,
and from the end of 'Musicology' until 'I Would Die 4 U' the footage is pretty
terrible. The camera shakes about, the camera is pointed at the wrong side of
the arena, the camera is pointed way up at the roof (you get the picture).
However once it settles down during 'Baby I'm A Star' this is an amazing
release. When Prince is out of view on one persons footage, the guy mixing it
has used the other footage, and we are treated to the giant video screen, or a
shot of Prince from another angle. Both filmer's were at the same side of the
arena, however they are slightly opposite sides of the stage, so the view is
vastly different from each filmer's footage. Crisp, clear picture quality, and
when the zoom is used, the results are pretty amazing. As far as the show itself
is concerned, Prince is in a great mood, and enjoys playing with the crowd.
D.M.S.R ("I ain't got no booty!") is very funny, and Purple Rain is a joy to
listen to - fantastic.
