Release Notes:

Wilderun is a Symphonic Folk Metal band based out of Boston, Massachusetts.

Given the immense popularity of folk metal in Europe, Wilderun felt it was time
for the genre to have a strong voice west of the Atlantic. The band combines
original material with traditional folk songs, many of which have been pulled
from America's rich repertoire. Wilderun's goal is to bring these old and lost
folk tales to a modern audience, giving them a fresh, progressive metal twist,
as well as creating epic, original compositions.

Wilderun has played alongside numerous notable acts of the genre, such as
Korpiklaani, Alestorm, Turisas, Tyr, and many others. In the fall of 2012, they
released their debut full-length “Olden Tales & Deathly Trails”, which has been
sold across the globe to an ever-growing fan-base.

In the summer in 2013, Wilderun completed a tour across the east coast and
midwest, alongside North Carolina folk metal band Aether Realm. In early 2014,
Wilderun embarked on their "Storm Along the West Coast" tour, spanning from San
Diego to Seattle, and back down again. With these tours, and many more to come,
Wilderun is setting out to prove to the international scene that American folk
metal has a place in the genre’s pantheon.
